Fencing at Zinave ~ Mozambique

TNH was fortunate to be awarded the contract for consulting on the installation of the fencing at Zinave National Park in Mozambique. To  date this has been an exciting project with many challenges and we hope to have this project completed by the end of 2011.

Zinave National Park is situated along the River Save in Inhambane Province in Mozambique. It is roughly 4000km2. The reserve is assessable mainly by 4x4 only and our 4x4's worked hard to get there!  There is currently lots of exciting development in the National Park but currently only camping is available with prior arrangement from Management located in the main campsite area.  Some of the attractions are the beautiful views and the riverine vegetation and the Miombo forests. Zinave is part of the Great Limpopo Transboundary Conservation Area Programme.

Below are a few pictures of the team getting set up and starting the fencing at Zinave.

  3. It is important to mention we worked closely with the underground utility location folks to determine where power, water, gas and communication lines ran inside and outside our property. You might note the little flags in the middle of the photo just above. Very important to know where things are buried. Fence Constriction
